The ignorants of Tinseltown cast their tribe to play all the fancy roles, as usual.... the high-ranking military fool, the tin-plated hero, etc.
The cavalry wants to thwart Indian attacks so they can procure more land, rent a lot of it out so they can make more money, and promote Zionism out west. Handsome John Derek and the cool black-n-white photography are the only reasons to tune in, but you may want to pass if you have anything else more important to do, like unclogging your toilet.
Routine western; oh yeah, one more good point about this film.... it's only 70 minutes long (one hour, ten minutes).... thank God.
