Great musical comedy
4 June 2012 | by y-garaninSee all my reviews

I was a young man when I first saw this film in one of Moscow cinemas, where there was a cultural week of French films. I liked it so much that I saw it twice or three more times later on. The music and the general atmosphere of the movie seemed so fresh and impressive for me, living in the communist country.

Lately I tried to find this film on DVD or in the Internet but only managed to get a RIP of quite bad quality. I'd like my daughter to watch this film and I wonder if she will like it the same way as myself.

It was a pity to know that the actor who played the main female character, died from AIDS at the age of just 32.
